Nice crowd for my first-time back in years. Not much money changing-hands, however. I am up-on current valuations, and I must say that the vendors (as-well-as) the walk-ins) were too proud of their firearms. I really don’t recall seeing any serious bargaining. Guns that were on the tables when I arrived, were still there three-hours later. Walk-ins seemed to disappoint. I expected some action at a December show.
Still $6 to get in: good. Lots of vendors to look at: good. Isles way too small, shoulder to shoulder, people bumping into you with themselves, rifles, book bags, etc.: bad. Like the person said above, seems to be more people who smell bad than any other gun shows for some reason: bad. Only about two vendors with good prices out of a hundred or so vendors, the others are waaaaay over priced, all I kept hearing from the vendors was “no ones buying today”, geeze wonder why ! : bad. Eaterys pretty good: good.
The dealers (venders) have to pay for tables plus guns. Your money in investments are their to help others. Dealers have to make money on their investment s. Just like you. They have nothing to give away accept good advice
I’ve been going to this event a few years now and try to make it each month. There’s a great selection of about anything gun related you can think of. I suggest going early if you want a good parking spot and for sure go at least a half hour early if you want a handicap spot because thid place fills up fast and stays that way throughout the day.
I stopped going to the Medina show because the vendor prices are outrageously too high. Not just 1 or 2 vendors but all of them. The isle are shoulder to shoulder with a lot of nasty smelling people. Save your $6 and go to Fin Feather Fur or Sportsmen Den in Shelby.
You are very unlikely to find new without a nics check, as almost all new (unfired) weapons are sold by dealers who need fed. Firearms licences. I’m sure you can find used from a private seller who won’t have access to nics. Just make sure you don’t break any laws and give the anti-freedom people more statistics.
