I guess this is the new way of the world to address things or just have your piece of mind spoken.
I recently attended the September 7th-8th 2024
Port Charlotte show and was my last 2 guys gun show! I’ve been going to shows for 30 years and how things have changed gun restrictions gun regulations and policies that being said
It’s amazing how the people of the shows complain of all the by-laws and regulations but are sheep to stand for their rights and there for the staff have become just plain disrespectful can’t conduct business at a show parking lot ( on public land) paid by tax dollars can’t conduct business at front door and this past Saturday I found out by the check in guy with his disrespectful mouth and loud and stupid sheep attitude now you can’t conduct business in the front door so between fleamarket vendors, and all the disrespectful staff and regulations put forth I’m glad to say I’m done with gun shows and especially 2 guys gun show thank you
I agree wholeheartedly. Went to the same show. Same rude, disrespectful people as you encountered.
I did attend the other Port Charlotte show this past weekend and found it to be much better.
I’m a 69 yrs young handicapped woman and would like to know if it would be safe for me to attend alone and since I’m interested in a rifle and revolver along with ammo, will I be taken advantage of since I don’t know what to look for? I’m as green as they come and I haven’t shot since the 1990s so it will be clear I don’t know Jack about what to look for. I just don’t want to be taken advantage of or harmed. I hope someone responds. Thank you!!!

Thank you so much Reyna for the advice!
Been to this show many times. Just and idea to bring in more collectors. Label the Show as, Gun Show and Many Other Period Collectible Related Items. I have done this with Antique Car Shows and it was a good crowd catcher.
Just and idea , I am also a buyer and seller of this stuff, we should change the title of Gun Show to, Gun Show and Other Related Collectibles. What do you think

I keep seeing this show listed as being at “Roberts Arena” . For the love of Mike, the name or the arena is ROBARTS ARENA! See the difference? Slow normal.
Have been to this show at least a half dozen times, always fun, good prices, great people, love it and looking forward to going again.
My favorite show. Small but not tiny with lots of private dealers. Friendly and fun.
Do you know if this show allows private sales without background checks?
Yes.
Seeing the comment about “too much flea market stuff” made me think… we need to welcome all people, ages, genders, and especially kids to gun shows. We need to promote the importance of the 2nd Ammendment and the role guns play in our free American society (we are the last free nation, and we must maintain our freedom). Also, we need to break the many false perceptions about guns. By having more than just guns at a gun show, we can introduce more people to the American way. It’s up to each one of as supporters of this amazing country to share the truth.
it’s more family-friendly
Find this an interesting show. A smaller show, but real quality.
I have bought Lyman vintage sights and ammo. Older snow birds not on the internet, can field some nice items.
This show had a little bit of everything small to large caliber. If you go in thinking it’s going to be like the large shows …. it’s not. However it has a more personal touch. I almost didn’t go due some of the replies glad I did go got Walther at a nice price. All the ammo was priced high but there are deals to be made on guns and knives.
GOOD SHOW. THE AISLES BETWEEN THE TABLES ARE A BIT TIGHT. A WIDE VARIETY OF FIREARMS & ACCESSORIES………
I like this show. Smaller and more local. More private sellers as well. Worth the visit for me every time.
A nice smaller venue with a variety of dealers, individuals, and products offered
Lots of flea market and beef jerky vendors. Don’t bother with this low quality show and save time and money!
Only one table selling beef jerky so that’s a fib.
Thousands of quality guns some you could not afford.
People come from hundreds of miles away because
this is one of the best shows in the state of Florida.
GREAT show !!!
