The Midwest Knifemakers Guild was established in 2019 to create a community and provide education, mentorship, and networking for Knifemakers and enthusiasts in the region.
Though most members come from the 8 Upper Midwest States, all makers are invited to be a part. Meetings are held three times a year with a focus on taking Knifemakers out of the online forums and putting them in direct contact, in return increasing the ability and technical knowledge of knife making and bladesmithing.
One of the main goals of meetings is to organize presenting forums that may be specific techniques for edged tool construction, or other peripheral parts of the craft such as leather working and woodcraft. Meetings are open to the public, and anyone with interest is invited to attend.
The Midwest Knifemakers Guild is an IRS registered non-profit education organization.
The 2nd Annual Twin Cities Knife Show currently has no upcoming dates scheduled in Bloomington, MN. This Bloomington gun show is held at MN National Guard Armory and hosted by Midwest Knife Makers Guild. All federal and local firearm laws and ordinances must be obeyed.
Tables and Booths are available.
8ft Tables: $100.00
Booths: $400.00 (8x11 nominal)
I do not know why this is even listed on gunshowtrader.com there is no guns just knives waste of my time and $10 most of the knives here are just store-bought resellers but there are some that are handcrafted and meet the guidelines that the show states would not go
I was the first person to buy a ticket for the show at the door. This show was well worth it. Vendors were very friendly and helpful, everyone was really positive on how well the show was going. Good luck and I hope there will be many shows in the future.
Joe – Thank you speaking up and supporting the Show. The show is 95+% hand made knives sold by the Makers!!!
