I was very surprised to see approx. 32 or more tables missing from the main room! Wider aisles, yes thank you, but many less vendors .. IMO the show could do without the wine vendor!! . Joel and Co. always try and promote a decent show but this location is a slow dying on the vine as the previous promoter experienced.. Perhaps a single day show rather than a full weekend might attract more traffic?.. Thanks Eagle Arms for all the better shows there in the past..

Went to this show on Jan 5, 2018. Spent 25 minutes and was able to get all the jewlery, pickles, purses/bags, and, yes, even a few coloring books and kids puzzles. Why call it a gun show if you are going to beef up your lack of firearms dealer related sellers with non-firearms material. Like York, its just not worth attending it anymore. Seems like not much has changed since the first show of 2017 where another commenter observed the same deterioration in show quality.

I can only hope that the powers that be really listen to this review, I’ve been going to gun shows in pennsylavnia since 1984. I am just a collector and enjoy seeing the different weapons I’ve only read about and talking to the dealers. It’s all about having a great time and learning something new everytime I go. Over the past year I have seen a decline in guns and gun related items at these shows, I respect Eagle Arms and have always had a good time at their shows, there seems to be alot of filler at their shows and lebanon was one of my favorite. Today I saw a lot of beef jerky, wood carvings, jewelry, t-shirts, if I wanted to see that I’d go to the mall. I drove 2 hours to get there only to be disappointed. Oaks was also filled with debri as well but it’s big enough to have enough guns. Split rock is coming up and I hope it’s not filled with non gun related items. There are other promoters out there that understand this and the allentown show is one of them. This review was not meant to be harsh, just honest. Listen to the people who walk through the door, who show up at every show no matter how far.

I can’t get Peter Piper’s Pa Pickles at the mall. I can’t find a good selection of beef jerkey at the mall and I can’t find many of the other small items you don’t like at the mall. I actually appreciate being able to find those items as well as T-shirts that are screen printed with designs and text that I can;t find anywhere else. It’s kind of like the internet, if you see a comment you don’t like just keep browsing, there’s no need to complain about it, someone else might appreciate seeing what you aren’t looking for.

Show is smaller and quiet. I happen to like it a lot ,mainly because there is less people you are able to get some good detailed answers from the vendors about the specifics of the firearms. Last time i went i believe it was $5 admission and I purchased a handgun I couldn’t find at the Oaks show for a better price than i’d find online. I will absolutely go back , to me like a nice little gem.
