The Council Bluffs Gun Show will be held on Oct 18th-20th, 2024 in Council Bluffs, IA. This Council Bluffs gun show is held at Westfair Fairgrounds and Ampitheater and hosted by Marv Kraus Promotions. All federal and local firearm laws and ordinances must be obeyed.

My fiancé and I attended this gun show the afternoon of April 28, 2022. It had been many years since I had been to this one and it has definitely grown! There were quite a variety of guns and other enjoyable items displayed. Now for the down side. It was a cold, rainy day and I was surprised to see the overhead doors open. I had spotted a gun I was interested in in building one, but opted to check all the buildings before I decided. I got back to building one only to find out that the vendor was closed for the day! My fiancé had noticed that several venders were closing for the day as well. Since it was Saturday I was quite appalled by this. I hope this doesn’t become a habit as I won’t be back!
I’m a vendor and that is truly rare these days. If show is dead, and it’s 15 minutes until close, some vendors start shutting down but never in middle of show unless that vendor had some emergency which is extremely rare. The promoters don’t allow vendors to just come and go as they please.
Great show! Easy parking. Lots of guns and gun related items, good variety of firearms. Not much extra stuff. Recommend this show! Not many in this area.

Decent show, 3 buildings at the fair grounds. 80-85% guns, knives accessories or reloading. No sports show I have ever seen there at the same time. Are deals to be found on used. good selection of new but not much out of the ordinary
Few guns, mostly trinkets and trash. I don’t like being made to pay for the Sports Show to see the Gun Show. Very poorly done.
