Drove all the way to the show only to find out it was cancelled. Thanks a lot for not updating this site as being cancelled. BIG waste of our time!!

Went to the last show. And I knew to expect a collector’s show. Lots of interesting antique firearms to see. There were also some vendors with modern and new firearms.

I have only been to 3 gun shows. I enjoyed the history that was there. Bought a few things. Didn’t pay what the vendors were asking.

Would not recommend this show. Went last year and was disappointed, gave it a second chance and was equally disappointed. It’s the first show I attended and did not purchase anything.

Much smaller than when there was actually a viable C.A.D.A. (collectors arms dealers assn.) Only one or two of the much anticipated eye candy dealers have returned. I do applaud the efforts of the current promoters, as there can never be too many gun shows. However, quality has slipped substantially to the realm of the local monthly shows.

This is by far the best “high end” gun show in Illinois!

This used to be a very high quality show where you would see amazing guns. Unfortunately it has slipped to the point it is no longer any getter than your average little hick-town show. That may be a little harsh but it is nowhere near what it used to be when lots of the big name venders participated.

Unless you are a serious collector with at least $3-5,000 then stay away and save your $8.00 admission fee. The collectors are showcasing their collections “not for sale” so patrons can ooh, and aah!
I wasted time going 60 miles one way, wasted time spent there, and had 2 stars worth of fun.
I hope this helps those of you on the fence–this was my last CADA Show.
