Great show but everyone is right about showing up at 7:30 or don’t show up at all.
One time I was late and got there at 10:00am (3 hours and 30 minutes before the show ended) and 30% of the vendors were already packing up. Even approached one guy asking to buy the brass he was packing up and he said no.
Get there early. All the good deals get scooped up right away. If you get there afternoon don’t even bother. About half the vendors are packing up to leave.
Good show…. I believe last year admission was $5.00
This year $7.00 big increase…. we’ll see
Last year it was Saturday. Not a real big show, but it as pretty good. This year I wanted to arrive early and get some of the better deals that I missed last year. Since it is on Sunday, my friends and I won’t be able to be there at all.
Good selection, good location. It is way too cramped and above all, it’s supposed to be a gun show. You know wholesale prices or at least reasonable prices…a lot of the vendors won’t haggle and their prices on the guns are at least retail. Then if you start looking at ammo, especially 22LR along with common Pistol calibers, the prices are higher than retail in most cases. What sense does it make to go to a gun show if you’re getting the same prices that you’re going to get at a retail store? More and more I buy online most everything. No crowds no drastic markups, reasonable prices Etc… unfortunately gun shows aren’t what they used to be. Yes you can find the occasional deal here and there but for the most part gun shows are just not what they used to be.
Yes Mike,
I agree with you 100% the sponsors of the show are thinking of themselves to make the most money they possibly can.
There are many Individuals That take up space that cannot buy firearms.
Under the age of 21 should not be admitted. Over the age of 21 without a f o i d should not be admitted. They take up space and crowd around articles for sale that I can’t get close to. Thanks, Al
Way to crowded. Feel like you cant breathe. I didnt have time to see everything because if you stop to look you are being bumped constantly.
I like this show a lot!
Nice show, with a wide variety.Only drawback is that parking can be hard to come by,so be prepared to walk a decent distance.
Good show, get there early because an hour after the show starts you will Hardly be able to walk down the aisles. Way to cramped for space, dealer tables too close together. I use to sell there but got tired of banging into other dealers chairs, being stepped on, tripped over, stuff being knocked off my table, etc.etc.They built new buildings on the grounds, but the show continues to stay in the same small building, must be a money issue. The lady that runs the show is very nice. I sell all my gun stuff on the internet now, way less of a hassle.
