I went to this gun show the people were really considerate if you have any questions. The food reasonable and if you’ve been to other shows you know the high cost of eating there. My only complaint and this was and is the big one, the FFL dealers doing the DROS at this show were lost when doing the paperwork oh don’t get me wrong there was a lot of gun transfers going on and they were just not ready to handle the flow or influx of customers. I think these folks were assuming it was going to be light buyers but were they in for a surprise, I made a private party purchase and they lady who was nice and courteous said it would take 10 days for the DROS but give it 11 days, this was on the 26 of November and they didn’t put it in till the 5 of December. When I called at the 10th day to make a time to pick it up and I live in the Fairfield/ Vacaville area I kept getting a recording from some guy on the phone, and, I could only surmise it was the owner BMGing how many DROS they had to input into the system and the custoers were wanting to pick up their guns when I know damn well it only takes 5 minutes to input it, but to not tell the customers what happened and to take a full nine days from the date of the gun show to process the information was seriously so unprofessional in my opinion I was ready to spit. All you will get is this answer from these folks is IT TAKES TEN DAYS FROM WHEN WE INPUT THE INFORMATION so my question is if you have a Rip Van Winkle incident are we the customers screwed? Not no but hell no this is out of the question, so my warning to any one buying a gun and you encounter Daves Gunsmithing doing the paper I would rethink the purchase and go somewhere else. Now for the gun show I liked it, I can’t say enough about the friendly atmosphere there I will say some gun sellers really don’t want to sell they’re just showing off but all in all not bad the entry fee was only 7 dollars and thats reasonable.

I saw 1 vendor selling Nazi memorabilia, and 3 selling pro-Confederate memorabilia. Other than that, it wasn’t bad. The entry fee included a raffle ticket to win a M&P Shield. It was definitely rifle-centric, which is understandable considering the area. Overall prices seemed reasonable, but not great.
