Greats gun show, sucks that I only found out about it recently I’ve only been to 3 gun shows. I went to the one open on October 22nd and heard that one will be the last gun show here in Ventura, CA. Don’t know why but that sucks.
I have been going to this gun show for years and it has always been good. This year I went on sat morning and a lot nof the booths were closed and the parking lot had very few car. Every time I went in the passed there was a line to get in of a few hundred people, this time there was no line. QAnd when I got in there were very few people. This year the show was very poor. I don’t know if I will be going to it again.
Costa Mesa – Every other month at the O.C. Fairgrounds. Huge for Ca. Standards.
4 huge buildings and everything in between.
Excellent show ! Get there early or you’ll be waiting in line for awhile.
Not likely, Find a Turners Outdoorsman. Best prices and always in stock . Gun Shows are not always cheap prices for anything ! I’ve been attending for years .
Will I find a M1 cartridge
I went there today excited to buy some accessories for my ar-15 and my 1911, but this place was more like a swap meet because there was more people selling clothes and novelties than actual gun accessories.
Last time I went to the Ventura gun show, it’s wasn’t good at all. very few guns rifles, have not been back for at least three years.
Would like to go to a show that actually has guns to see, maybe buy. New and used
I don’t think the ammo was anything to talk about last either, just knives swords some ammo. And a few safe dealers, in fact one was from Simi.
I have been to this gun show before but not in about 5 years or so because I was caring for my Mom who was very ill. When I had attended twice before it was a small show in one building, not many vendors etc.. This time there was a good amount of vendors and people attending in two buildings as well as out side between the buildings and a few in the roadway area. I was pleasantly surprised, I was able to purchase what I needed. They had two large areas with two vendors with a great deal of ammunition, that I had not seen prior. Plus they had smaller amounts with other vendors as well. I had been to the Lancaster gun show just prior to this one and it seemed to be just about as big as that show. Saw some of the same vendors from that show at the Ventura show and a few that were not at Lancaster with different things they were selling. I was told that the winter shows are sometimes larger so we will see if the next one in May is the same size. It also may be that there has been a surge of interest in weapons because of everything that we see has been happening in society and governments involvement in owning firearms.
I went to this show in December and it was a freakin swap meet of just about anything but guns. A huge waste of time. I asked the owner about it and she just blew me off and basically said “Oh well.” It’s a shame. This used to be the best one to go to in Ventura. Hopefully it will get back to how it used to be.
