All I can say is that I went there and found so much of what me and my group were looking for and more. There aren’t very many gun shows in tallahassee, but when this one is in town, I make sure I am off because I have always found a good deal on stuff. Bought an FN 5.7 for less than msrp and the dealer threw in a holster. Dealer with the blue sign. I bought shotgun primers and a case of 45. My girlfriend took the CWP class and it was better than the one I took. The instructor covered everything that one needs to know about carrying concealed. I have no regrets going and will be going back next time. I want to buy a tac14. My Dealer is bringing me one. Great Service!
We went to the April 2022 event. We had a great time. Lots of guns and great deals. We bought a gun, scope, holster and a couple other small things. All the dealers were willing to negotiate to a great price.
I have been 3 times and it is always the same, very few gun dealers almost no private deals but lots of other stuff like purses, knives, ammo, bags, etc.. and no room for 2 way traffic! Sad to spend all your time excusing yourself just to walk through. To top it all off the few things I found was 10 to 20% more expensive that I can buy online and sadly that is just too high a price to shop local.
Trade show hint: always negotiate. They want to sell the items a lot more than they want to take them back home.
I’m actually new and want to see what the gun show is all about.
When you go down to the Dept of Agriculture, they will take your prints and picture as part of the process. Yes there is an additional fee for the permit. At the gun show, you are paying for the weapon class required for getting the permit.
