The Springfield show last several years had many open spaces not filled by vendors.
Agree with prior post that prices are relatively way too high. Very hard to find prices that beat other shows or anything on line.
That said, the venue works reasonably well, although parking can be challenging – and muddy.
Variety of merchandise is OK.
Maybe a C+ for this show.
Great show. Was worth the 2hr drive. Took about 4 hours to see everything. I will return.
I appreciate all the work it takes for everyone involved to put on a gun show. That being said, this one is not worth driving very far to attend. If Indy is an A, Bloomington and Champaign are a B, this one is a C. Typical over priced guns and full blown retail priced magazines and ammo, and not even all the quirky left-field stuff you normally find at shows like solvent traps, bump keys, body armor, etc.
