Will start going to the S C again when they stop charging for parking
Decent gun show – went there for years and had a good time. Lately though, the prices just aren’t worth it. $10 for parking (which is a screw) / $10 for entry (eh, ok, the sponsor
needs to make I buck – I get that one) / mediocre quality, overpriced food (again, thanks to the venue that looks at the people like wallets with legs).
Would LOVE to do another show, ’cause these folks do a pretty good job at it – just not going to do it at this place . . .
I usually go to every gun show they are getting worse and worse every time price is too high and with the price of parking and entrance fee it really isn’t even worth going anymore
Used to hit this show pretty much every time it came around, even though I have about a 45 min drive. Always lots to look at, and sometimes a deal to be found. Since the parking and entrance fees have been increased I skip it more often than not. Starting off $20 in the hole before getting through the door is a deal killer for me.
Hi Tracey. This is Lay Chy. I would like 4 tablets at the Novi Nov. 30-Dec. 1. Please wall spaces same as last time. And I need electricity. Thank you.
Went to July 27-28 show, billed as 7-900 tables, I counted 360 tables set up (2 sections of 180) and about 60 of those were empty. Handful of vendors left Saturday night. A LOT of non gun related/flea market junk. $10 to park, $10 to get in, really just a waste of money. Very few fairly priced dealers there and a lot of covid’esq prices still hanging around. One dealer selling silver and prices were almost double what you can go to any coin shop and buy them for. $8 for a 40% half dollar is highway robbery. $40 for a 1oz round is criminal. $35 for a box of 45acp FMJ, $20 for a box of 9mm. I will never go back to this show. Complete waste of time.
Obviously you didn’t come see me, I sell 45 for 29 and 9mm for 16, and was there opening till close with ammo carts, maybe your exaggeration is too much
Y’all really should put that they charge for parking here too. You also can’t park nearby and walk it either to avoid that fee. Not to mention a lot of the vendors jack up the prices for the show when you’d think they’d lower them. There are a few who will give you a fair shake though, especially if you’re willing to converse with them a little bit.
The food is overpriced too.
I’d say wait for a gun show anywhere else, like a VFW hall or something. You’re less likely to get treated like a peace of meat / a wallet with legs.
This place keeps cranking up the parking price. It used to be $5, then $7 and now it’s $10. So you’re out $20 before you even get to see a firearm. There is usually a decent amount of guns but don’t expect to find any nice prices on anything. Lastly, they have too many tables filled with non-gun related items. I think I’ll be sitting these shows now. It’s sad.
[email protected], December 7 th -8 th at the Pontiac Expo Center is going to be better than the Novi gun show.
It’s more a flea market than a gun show!
Always a large amount of quality items to view and purchase with very knowledgeable dealers to answer any questions that you may have. From novice to expert, attend for all your firearm and hunting needs.
