Well I was there last year around the holidays 2020 depressed over the coop wanted to buy myself a gun gift. But I saw no complete guns for sale of any kind except for a handful of high priced personal guns, like 10 maybe. There were allot of upper receivers and parts for sale. Along with hand bags, stun guns, holsters, hand loaded ammo, clothing, coins, toys, assorted gun/range paraphernalia. But absolutely no FFL dealers selling new guns. No disrespect but it did sort of remind me more of a midway display at a seasonal carnival show. Nevertheless I made the best of it and bought myself a leapord painted stun gun made in China for $14

Go there now, things have changed…three rooms and guns, guns, guns! Plenty of ammo and everything else… not nice to bad mouth the extreme efforts of so many fine people.

this is a really nice small show. parking costs you (it doesn’t at most other shows) but the fees go to a local youth group so its a good cause. dealers are willing to bargain and there is a good selection 0f weapons. also most dealers don’t mind spending some time with you even if you are a lookie-loo.

My experience has been that firearms carried by the public are zip tied and unloaded. Firearms on the tables are supposed to also be zip tied and unloaded. This is a safety precaution at most if not all gun shows due to an incident that occurred in the 90’s at the old Great Western Gun Show in Pomona. Some jack ass went around to several tables and loaded live rounds into revolvers for kicks. Some people say it was done by the Brady Bunch but this was never proven. A customer picked up one of these guns., pointed it towards the ceiling (thank God) and pulled the trigger to see how good the trigger pull was.. The resulting gun shot brought a screeching halt to the show for almost an hour while dealers were required to check all of their weapons for live rounds.Several dealers found live ammo in their guns and it was the same brand. The next show all guns on tables had to be zip tied..I don’t know if Murphy will try to enforce a ban on concealed carry for the public. It would be next to impossible because of the nature of CONCEALED CARRY because how do you know if someone is carrying concealed. ?? I don’t think he tries to enforce this on dealers because he knows the value of their merchandise. The Murphy show is one of the best small shows around and fairly well run. The one time he was forced to cancel was because a competitor dropped a dime on him to the authorities at the last minute about some obscure rule he failed to comply with. Dirty Pool..
