the show was OK. Definitely not what it used to be. there was a time they would utilize both buildings, had food trucks and even a band. It was my wife and I favorite gun show. you could find anything from reloading powder and primers to ear rings to paintings and custom knives. Now its barely 1 building with people selling ammo who I swear are trying to get rid of the 2nd amendment with attrition. they cant take our guns, they will just make it too expensive to use them.
I did get some rather tasty beef sticks though.

I’ll be there just because the ammunition law goes into effect in July, and I need a few more boxes. I have been buying from Andy’s Ammo at the last four gun shows I’ve attended, in Lodi and Antioch.

So all week I’ve been looking forward to going to the Mountain Aire’s Lodi Gun Expo. I usually go to this promoters shows. I buy my ticket and get hassled by one of his promoters to fill out a survey to win a prize and he jams a ticket in my hand. I politely tell him no thank you and he can keep the ticket he says they never take the ticket back I told him I wasn’t interested. He tells me I need to look at the smile face on the ticket.. So I drop the ticket and walk to the entrance where the ticket taker gives me crap about dropping the ticket and I should have used a garbage can which there wasn’t one anywhere nearby… and also gives me crap for not filling out the survey… I told him I didn’t want to participate and the other guy wouldn’t take the ticket back. This ticket taker was also a Richard Noggin… I mean it’s tough enough to go to these shows when you know that usually they are going to be marginal at best… and you go hoping to try to help keep the shows going in CA. But when you are treated badly… even prior to getting in the door… forgetaboutit… The show was a disappointment although I did like the live music. Don’t waste you $10.00 there was hardly anything worth buying All of it is about 10% over retail including new guns and ammo.
This will be the last show I attend after 30 years of going to shows in CA. At least I will never go to one by this promoter again. Well done Mountain Aire… I told a few of my buddies who were going to go tomorrow to not waste their time.. They appreciated not having to waste the money driving and the entrance fee.

One of the best Gun Shows I’ve been to in awhile. This was in Lodi on the 19th Nov 2016. Lots of gun and ammo booths 3 rooms full. Even a live band and taco trucks. rock and roll and firearms. Ted Nugent would be proud!

Going to the 2017 show tomorrow and surfing reviews. Offering to refund Casper ‘s money is straight up cool. I went to last years show and thought it was a good event. I bought a gun there.

For a Gun Show in California it was pretty weak, for the following reasons i.e; no notices of not carrying concealed weapons, except for vendors-contractors-security personal-on duty peace officers. The security staff had all the bells and whistles on their uniforms with the exception of a firearm. Most of the vendors really had stock they couldn’t move in their stores. A large Confederate flag, being displayed next to the US Military table and six different vendors displaying items for sale with the above mentioned flag on the items they had for sale. A presidential candidate’s table (Trump) waving his official political placard whenever a Black person walked by. By no means I’m I bashing your company, but merely pointing out conditions that you might not be aware of and to inform people of color of the atmosphere before they attend one of you events in California. It will be real interesting the next time your company comes to Lodi CA for your 3rd show, to see how you’ll make all potential customers comfortable. Also remember social media helps and HURT’S an event.

Thanks for the review. I’ve read other reviews that weren’t so pleasant. You’ve helped to confirm my decision. I won’t be going.

Yesterday I went to the Mountain Aire/Lodi gun show.
It was pretty well set up and was a pretty darn good show. There must have been at least 300 to 400 people there at the same time we went, which was just after noon.
You can’t always believe every review you see about anything, you have to read a lot of the reviews to know if something is good or not. Sometimes some people just post bad reviews because they didn’t like one thing or another, or they had a bad experience with someone, and want to take it out on the whole production. As for me this gun show was a good experience! I have not been to any others that were any better yet.

Attended the show on Sunday and was very happy. Bought several items at great prices from friendly staff. Good selection to choose from. The venue was clean and no charge for parking. Will attend again.

I just did the Sac gun show right before I did yours and yours blew Sac’s out of the water.
It’s been a pleasure working with you in your inaugural show and many others in the near and distant future

My family and I had a great time. Vendors were very polite and knowledgeable. My daughter turns five this weekend and asked to go back for her birthday. Thank you for finally bringing a gun show to Lodi. We can’t wait to see what this weekend holds! We found great deals and hope to find more. Keep up the good work.

Glad to have a local show to go to. Yes it was crowded but it was the first event. And there was a very good show of support for this venue. It was nice to see new local vendors. Every other show has the same vendors with the same stuff. Looking forward to the next show in one of the bigger buildings at the fair grounds here in Lodi.

I went to the previous gun show and enjoyed myself. My only wish was that it was bigger, that being said I am happy that the neXT will be bigger. Looking forward to march 5 and 6

I enjoyed this show because it had a different feel to it. When I showed up, there was a trick shooter that was performing to a large crowd and surrounding the area was a variety of food vendors. It was great. You could feel that it was not your typical boring gun show. They had a good selection of vendors. I will definitely be returning to their next show.

I was at the show both days! It was great, there was a lot of stuff for my kids to do, some really great deals on guns and ammo. There was great food vendors on site, brick oven pizza was incredible. I hear the same crew will be back in town in about March and can’t wait. I think the best parts were not having to drive to Reno, and the great LE deals.

Was a huge turn out… Some nice rare guns… Some nice people… Found exactly what I was looking for there… Thinking about being a vender at the next one..
Was able to find a ppk… At a great price….
The people that run this are some of the best people to work with.

This was a very poorly planed show. Any gun show promoter should know that gun shows are well attended. This promoter apparently was more concerned about getting $9.00 per ticket to get in rather that making it a show worth attending.
Out of three buildings that are attached by large roll up doors between each building, only one building was used. The vendors were around the wall and the center and many were over whelmed by people. There were so many people inside it was shoulder to shoulder just moving as a mass of people. I’m surprised the fire department didn’t shut it down. It was almost impossible to stop and talk to a vendor.
As far as I’m concerned it is $9.00 and two hours of my time that I will never get back. I will not be going to another show produced by Mountain Air.
