Yes, the show might be small, but, New Braunfels is a small town. And as others have said, depends on what your looking for. I’ve been to huge gun shows many times and have never found what I was looking for. So go look, you might just find what you wanted!
New Braunfels is half an hour from San Antonio, an hour from Austin and a popular resort and tourist town. The Civic Center is a great venue and down the block from the Saturday weekly farmers market. If the show had any attraction the crowds and vendors would come. Also, Liberty’s entry fee is the highest ($7) of all the shows in the region. They need to figure out what they need to do better.
Everybody was as friendly as ever But, But the show was so small and had so little to look at, it should have at least been free.
Few actual guns, some gun-related items and a bunch of other “stuff”. I went looking for guns and was in and out in about 10 minutes, no exaggeration. Took much longer to drive there only to spend nearly a dollar a minute for the duration I was there. If you want to shop actual guns, look elsewhere.
We attended this gun show in December. It was small and there were about 20 vendors and had a good mix of guns, ammo, knives and jewelry. When you attend any gun show, it just depends on what you are looking for. I think this just needs some word of mouth and it could be a hit.
