The Lancaster Show was taken over by this new promoter who will skim ammo vendors that want to come as the promoter has his own gun store and really doesn’t want any competition. Terrible way to run it. Hopefully SoCal gun shows get this location back when this contract is up. It use to be both halls and the walkway between had vendors. With the new promoter, it’s half of 1 of the halls.

This gunshow sucked, it was in one small building and only a few guns were being sold, loading equipment etc everything was way over priced above retail. 15 bucks to get in was a real rip off. Lots of backpacks and beef jerky and stickers for sale. Totally lame gun show. don’t waste your time or money.

I went last year and it was nothing like the guns shows Ive been to in Ontario. There wasn’t a lot of vendors selling guns and ammo was way overpriced. I really hope there is more this year!

Your review has a date of May 6th 2023. How do I find a Curren 2024 review?

I went to the March 2024 show and it is just like it was in 2023. A couple of ammo sellers, a bunch of expensive AR uppers, the usual old guys selling knackered M1 Garands for 1600 and a couple of gun stores selling handguns. There was actually some powder for sale, which is new. No primers though. The fairgrounds also charges $10 for parking too. The building was about 1/2 of what it was 6 years ago. If you want to go to an amazing gun show, take a trip to the Wannamaker gun show in Tulsa. Spend 8 hours and you might be able to see 25% of the tables.

It uste to be good all the time but now with the ban on selling any guns on state property all the shows are going to hell… They need to find big warehouses to have these gun shows off state owned property… Then they can start selling guns and better prices on ammunition… And now they withheld the law in court again …time to move those gunshows people!!!

I do not know why it was half of last year and only in one building instead of the normal two. However, I believe part of it would be long wait lines because they don’t have enough trustworthy cashiers and make more than one line. And don’t charge the vendors so much for their table. Then, they can charge more reasonable prices to the customer.
