The October show was great. Much warmer than the April show. Alot of good deals. Bought a couple of vintage rare knives that were cheaper than on Ebay. And one guy even GAVE me a vintage Zebco fishing reel cause I told him I collected them. Lots of guns and ammo. Just about anything outdoors related. Will definitely be going to the next April 2017 show. You’d be stupid to miss this show!!!

Nice wide aisles, expensive entry fee ($10) . Entry signage not very noticeable from the road. First past it by had to go back to a different entry gate. If you’ve gone there once you’ll remember. Different dealers than Kane or DuPage shows. Fishing equipment, clothing. Decent prices on ammo.

I went to the show in April, yes it was chilly, great crowds, but being in separate buildings, the crowds were small, unlike the Kankakee show were the crowds pilled 3-4 people deep , ammo was fairly priced, dont go if you’re looking for .22, ammo, no deals ,
I also live nearby so how do I not go, planning on going on Sunday

Great gun show! Well organized promoter who obviously put a lot of effort in it. No, weather was not our friend but who could of foreseen that. Can’t attend in October however hoping for another show next April. We will definitely return. Nice selection of vendors to accommodate customers, something for everyone!

I had a good time at the gun and sportsman show (as it clearly stated on the ticket). My son loved it, he purchased a very nice sword. I also found the elusive .22 ammo, which can be a real pain in the butt to get sometime at a very nice price 500 rounds for $50. All in all it was a great day, except the weather but this is Illinois so I was just happy there was no snow.

I have been doing gun shows for over 30 years and this was one of the top venues I have done and attended. Layout was good 4 buildings in a square, food in the middle and something for everyone. The Chloe group did a great job considering this was the first show of this kind at the racetrack, you will always have some bugs to work out and the were very responsive when issues came up. There’s nothing you can do about the weather which is just unpredictable.
I do shows jn the tri state area with two other vendors and we have already reserved our spot for October.

Chloe group, keep up the good work and see you in Kankakee.

The promoter did a great job and has been filling the shows the way they should be. Glad to see they care about what is being sold and hand pick the right vendors. Prices were good. Parking was easy food was great went both days hope to do the next show in Kankakee and when he does this one again in October.

I find the show was great went both days had lots of good deals. The promoter did a great job but mother nature was not with the program. I have also been to the Kankakee show since they took over the show and it is nice to see the crowds come back it has been a long time since the original promoter that had the show let it go be the way side Great job to the vendors and the promoter of this show.

Awesome show!! Seen lots of guns. Paid no attention to the prices as all the dealers I delt with would negotiate with there prices. Can’t help the weather! No one complains about weather when they go to a baseball or football game. Will definitely save my money and be back in October!! Awesome show!!

This promoter was great. The crowd was great, even with bad weather. We came down from WI, and will be back in October!

I thought the layout worked just fine, 4 buildings in a square with food vendors in the middle. 10 bucks for a venue this size is reasonable. Between the buildings they put bigger vendors such as trucks, boats, and atvs so you could tire kick as you walked to the next building. The above complaints with weather and heat are just reasons to complain, I enjoyed the show.

I attended this first gun show today. All in all it was a great show. Who knew the temp would be in the 30s? No heaters in the garages. That was the only downside that I experienced. Other than that it was great. I got a good deal on a handgun. This show was worth the $10.00 in my opinion. There were a lot of vendors and a lot of great deals here. Some of the ammo was cheaper.

I will definitely be attending there next show in October. A GREAT SHOW!!!
