no you dont… if you buy it from a sales person and you dont have the CCW, you will have to wait 5 days before taking it home with you…

if you buy it from an individual you can take it right away….
there is a law you need to know about… when you take your gun home, you have to have it in its box, and in a non easy accessible place, like your trunk, globe compartment or something like that…

being a military helps you getting lower prices in certain guns….

I may be going tomorrow (Sunday) to try and sell my new Glock 19. Someone told me that I couldn't sell it to a private buyer if they don't have a CWL – does anyone know if that's true? I know in Fort Myers it doesn't matter – this is why I'm questioning this info. Thanks!

take it from my experience, do not buy anything from Miami guns. they charged me for my gun and told me I had a five day wait to get gun clearance. I would receive the gun the following Thursday or Friday. That was at the May 5th show in Ft. Lauderdale, I still have no gun and no money. They charged my credit card the day of the show. No one answers the phone number listed. stay away from Miami guns.

A dealer from Miami (said he had a store in Bayside) selling T.E.N.S. units screwed my friend. It didn’t work, paid a high price for it and no answer.

After going to gun show the last 3 yrs, at least a 1/2 doz. times to sun coast shows, and trying to make up my mind as to my all time best carry, I now carry a Glock 27 with laser sight, my backup is a Seecamp 380, their is a rumor about that Glock has in the works a 9mm single stack, if that turn out to be true that could very well be my next carry,
as for gun shows I find some reloading supplies and I like to be among like minded people, I like when i see dad dragging his 3 girls behind and mom looking total bored on a Sunday afternoon. I’m sure he’ll make up for it and take them all to Disney Land. Anyway see U at the show, I’ll be their.

I’ve went to this show 5 times and deals are hard to find, but I like looking anyway. Some vendors are just outright trying to rip you off. A Beretta Pico was being sold for $500.00, I bought mine for $320.00, really!!! You have to do your research before you buy.
