Went to this one before I went to the miami show today, spent about 20 minutes inside, not much of a selection at all of guns.
Excellent Show
Great show, I go to every one. My wife also took her concealed class there! Can get some really good deals on guns and the staff is always friendly
Look around and you can find some deals. Guns like everything else, the new ones cost a lot and the used ones aren’t cheap either.
The place can get crowded, I find going before 11:30 or after 3:00 allows you to walk around without being in the way or bumping into somebody.
Still a good time even after 20 years!
This is one of my favorite gun shows. The venue is small, and the entry price matches that. But, the vendors are like those at old school gun shows willing to make a deal and not just dealers selling new in box product.
The best of the So. Fla. Gun Shows. Not overpriced, not overcrowded. Vendors are polite, fair priced, and knowledgeable. The concealed weapons instructor is excellent. Best of all, this show has nothing to do with Shoot Straight. That, by itself is worth a 5 star rating.
First, I rarely write reviews expressing dissatisfaction by giving a negative review but my experience at the gun show at the Ft. lauderdale Armory on January 30, 2016 just begs to be written about.
I went to the gun show expecting to find vendors selling bulk ammo and was disappointed to find that there were none. True there were a couple of tables showing some ammo but, other than 22’s there really was’t much.
At other shows such as the one at at War Memorial Auditorium in FTL or at the Fair Grounds in West Palm Beach I usually find what I need. In the sales profession we refer to a customer like me as a ready, willing and qualified buyer. I came with cash & I left with the same amount.
I was at the Armory to buy 1000 to 1500 rounds of 9mm, 500 rounds of .380, 500 rounds of 45’s & 12 gauge shells. Common items.
One other thing: To the man who was displaying the Morgan Silver Dollars & other collectable coins/currency…… I could barely get a “hello” out of you because you were more interested in talking to your friend/employee who you behind the table.
I thought about asking for a refund of my entrance fee but didn’t because the show promoter probably isn’t responsible for what the vendors chose to sell. I hope in the future they find vendors who sell bulk ammo. A gun show isn’t really complete without it. Thank you.

Great customer service. Although I would’ve liked to have had more than 2 options only to purchase my Springfield Mod 2 subcompact 9mm. I ended up buying it but I definitely feel you need more vendors. I”ll go again but definitely hope to see a bigger vendor turnout.I might just spend more money.
Great show! I have been vending with Jay for over 2 years and he always looks out for his vendors and we may be a smaller show but quality not quantity matters!

It is OK. Some are better than others, It is small, but you can find some deals. It is still better than NO gun show!!
