I went to the last one they had and it was as you would expect but I do enjoy the smaller town offerings more. There is usually a wider selection of the types of firearms or other merchandise you will find as compared to a larger show in a metro area. Usually, it’s more local people bringing things out of their private collections even if sometimes they price it more valued to hold onto than sell. Everybody was very friendly, as people usually are, but the last time they had the Washington Militia there.
This presence was very out of the ordinary for a gun show having armed, military uniform-wearing people standing watch even at the corners of the parking lot. It didn’t come off well for someone who goes to shows often and I’m sure it limited the amount of unplanned visitors from drive-by traffic.
This show was good but like all shows I have been to, weather it is a gun show or any other show it is mostly the same from one tie time to the next. You just have to put a little effort into finding things that interest you or don’t go.
