As an Alaskan professional outfitter and guide and custom rifle builder that use trade shows to sell from, I need to have show promoters know enough is enough of kids running amuck at all trade shows and stop the junk sale people selling goods not related to guns & ammo.
These kids run amuck grabbing your business cards and brochures not just one they take the full holders of them and run off to latter be found in the trash cans or the bastards get under your tables or go further into your booth and cause problems and not your kid you can’t whack them for being a bad kid and if you get in the parents for their bad kid you find the parents are as bad as the kid.
Kids need to be banned from these shows, they and their parents are yet to this day to afford a $2000 + custom rifle or a $25.000 hunt and fish in Alaska with me so they can go to fud shows of junk collectors
I really like the smaller gun shows because you have a chance to meet vendors and other gun enthusiasts.
Chad, who runs the show has a very friendly family that help with the show and it was great to meet them!
If you want a gigantic show that you bump elbows and get jostled around, those are available. Come out to one of these shows as a local wanting to meet other locals around a common shared interest and find some great deals, you won’t be disappointed.
I just have to say WOW! My husband and I went to the gun show Saturday September 16th, 2023. We had the BEST time. Not only was it well spaced and well lit, but the majority of the vendors there were very organized. We have been looking for specific ammo ALL over and finally found it yesterday, along with the possibility of more in the future! Vendors were helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, and only a small few seemed like they were overpriced. We went in just looking for that specific ammo and walked out with each of us loaded with bags 😁 It was a smaller show, but it was just a great vibe thru the whole thing. I honestly wasn’t looking forward to it, but now I cannot wait for the next one. Thank you so much! I think you guys did a great job with this one!
This has always been a good show for both vendors and buyers. It is worth the $7.00 admission. Most shows are $20+ and have pricing of firearms and accessories for a lot more than what can be purchased online. An easy purchase here and most of the vendors will haggle with the buyer for a decent price on all items. Come check it out. You won’t be sorry. Some of the negative comments here are disgruntled shoppers looking for steals, not bargains.
Hello,
I am the new owner / promoter (12/2021) of the American Dream Gun Shows and I wanted to take the opportunity to ask that each of you come back and give us a “look around”. I’ve been attending Gun shows for years and now as a promoter I am trying to balance the right types of goods, services and environment for both attendees and vendors. I’ve expanded advertising and local outreach to local brick and mortar stores so we can share our customer base with the firearms and collectibles enthusiast. I look forward to seeing you at our shows.
Waste of time and money, better shows in ca! And thats saying something
As a seller of custom-built AR uppers for sale at shows and professional Alaskan hunting guide I attend shows to sell Alaskan trips I operate that message told me what I needed to know is kids run amuck in the show grabbing business cards and brochures that cost me money and then the kid at the end of the show the full sack of cards and brochures goes into the trash – at some trade shows I’ve had kids run amuck and get under my table and one little bastard under the table grabbed me in the crotch thinking it was funny which you have to wonder who the parents of the kids was – Kids need to be banned from trade shows with the run amuck and chaos they case us vendors ! – And the bastard kids don’t just take one card or Brochure they take the full card and brochure holder of them at one time then run off with them and if you get on the parents for it the parents are nasty to the core !
Absolutely wonderful ppl kids had a blast friendly and SAFE for families to come. A true gun show with a few added bonus’ for the kiddos. Love the American Dream!!!!
That’s crap as well I was bummed I paid to get in,
The show should have paid me. Lousy show I agree!
I had the very same experience, stay away, there are lot better shows available in that local area.
Terrible experience!
Very little Ammo, very few guns,
Rude staff. Tina I think is promoter
We were a vendor at this show.
There were more bras and panties
Than guns. The promoter puts on a good front and then expects vendors to carry the load from little or no advertising Stay away from this show
Bad business.
I enjoy this small show with nice vendors and good selection for the size show it is. Good local crowd, and nice show promoter. Keep up the good work, and thank you for bringing the show back into the Carson Community Center
Small show, for guy buyers it is great, because there is no one else at the show. For vendor it is crap! Not worth the $80, There was maybe 100 people that came in the doors today. Aug 8th 2015.
