This place is big! I went with my husband on Saturday and it was packed. Hard to believe it was their first show—everything was well organized and everyone was super friendly. My husband found a gun he liked, and I even found a really cool Civil War reenactment piece.
For the very first gun show, it was a good one. As word-of-mouth gets out and more vendors show up I think it will be a great location. I read the reviewer that was disappointed because he did find any bargains, he is out of touch with the reality of present day gun shows. I go to gun shows to see guns that aren’t available at Academy sporting goods. I recommend you go to the next show and tell your friends about it, I have been to many many shows that weren’t as good as this one.
Guns way over priced, not many of them. It took my wife and myself less that half an hour to look at the bunch of them. $ 20.00.
Save yourself money. Academy Sports doesn’t change to look and cheaper.
We appreciate all feedback, but we stand by our first annual gun show. It had a fantastic turnout, vendors reported strong sales, and all of them have signed up for the next three shows. The community and our online audience have responded with enthusiasm and support. While your experience may have been different, we’re proud of the event and where it’s headed.
