I have some of my husband’s guns to sell . He died about a year ago. I have enough for a table. I would like to know the rules. Can I sell them without doing a background check? He left me the price to sell them. The serial number etc. I want to do everything right. Been lot of gun shows with him but never sold. Thanks
you CAN legally sell them to a dealer or individual, no bg check required, I’m not a lawyer so might want to confirm with the promoter or law enforcement, can’t sell to a felon or someone underage, handguns, pistols might have different rules than Long guns, rifles
First time as a vendor at this show, lots of people, it was raining money, an I got wet.
Lots of vendors, great buy, I got some great deals.
Well run show, food was good, customers was buying. Vendor all happy parking was easy, clean place.
As a customer knife maker, it a A+ show
Been going to this show at least 5 or 6 times. And won’t go back ever the owner is a clown. And Greenville has a much better experience. And I know a few vendors that said the same thing. I won’t go into huge details cause I’d be here all day. But hopefully he won’t be the owner much longer
This is my favorite show around Asheville Area! I’ve been going for 15-20 years. Everyone is helpful and knowledgeable. A wide selection of items are always on display (even items that the wife might like). Security is A+. I once saw Mike the owner chasing a shoplifter and holding him till the police caught up from across the isle! I give it 5 STARS!
Excellent show. Good variety of military weapons plus sporting guns and accessories. Prices on weapons especially sporting guns was More reasonable than a lot of other shows I’ve been to recently.
Great selection! Guns, ammo, knives thru out. I was very pleasantly surprised!
By far one of the better shows. None of the frilly fillers. A very diverse group of sellers and customers. I definitely recommend this show!!
A great show. Great vendors.
I too have noticed a severe lack of parking when multiple events are scheduled at the same location. Still, it’s better than the Civic Center, where you had to pay for parking. I’m told the show left the Civic Center because the city told them they didn’t want that “kind of show” in Asheville. I’m glad they moved, with Asheville having that attitude.
It was a good show until they told certain vendors not to come back because others were complaining their prices were too low. Its all fun and games until you manipulate the free market.
The vendors are very good, the building is too small. The aisles are extremely crowded. Now for the worst part, one way into and out of the parking lot. They also schedule multiple shows at this location making congestion terrible. When this show was at the civic center it was a lot better.
Great Ammunition sales throughout the show. With loads of North Carolina made range Ammunition. Also highest quality match grade Ammunition.
Also rifles and pistol sales, along with magazines and parts.
First one of these shows I have ever been to and was pleasantly surprised. Could not have imagined a more diverse group of people as I saw vending or attending today. Everyone was helpful and knowledgeable and I ended up purchasing a SIG for a fair price new in box as well as some 1911 mags and ammo for both. Will definitely be looking for more shows like this one.
