Facility and Hunting Grounds

• 500 Acres of Upland Bird Habitat: The club spans around 500 acres, offering a variety of hunting fields with different types of cover. The lower field features a wooded creek bottom with a pond filled by a natural spring, while the upper fields are CRP-type cover and planted milo, groomed with trails designed to hold and carry over birds.
• Bird Species: The primary focus is on pheasant and chukar hunting, with an extended season running from October through March.

Services and Amenities

• Hunting Packages: The club offers flexible hunting packages, including 2-hour and 4-hour hunts. Hunters can choose to hunt with their own dogs or opt for a professional guide and dog.
• Membership: Valhalla-Bijou is a membership club, providing year-round amenities and discounts on birds and hunting packages. Non-member hunting opportunities are available on a limited basis.
• Kennel and Dog Training: The club offers boarding and professional training through Valhalla Kennels and Gun Dogs. During the off-season, members can access live birds to start new pups or keep their dogs conditioned and seasoned.
• Hunter Orange Requirement: Everyone in the field is required to wear hunter orange, regardless of whether they are carrying a gun.
• No License Required: A hunting license is not required for hunting at Valhalla, except during the September dove season.
