    The Northern Virginia Gun Club (NVGC) is a private, member-owned shooting club offering a variety of facilities and activities for shooting enthusiasts. Proximity: Located in King George County, Virginia, approximately an hour's drive from Washington, D.C. The Northern Virginia Gun Club was founded with the mission to provide a safe, educational, and enjoyable environment for shooting sports enthusiasts. Over the years, the club has grown and developed a wide range of facilities to support various shooting disciplines.

    Facilities

    The NVGC offers a wide range of shooting facilities catering to different types of firearms and shooting activities:

    1. Rifle Range:
      • Multiple shooting lanes with distances up to 200 yards.
      • Covered shooting positions with benches.
      • Target stands provided; shooters can bring their own paper targets.
    2. Pistol Range:
      • Several shooting lanes for handgun practice.
      • Distances up to 50 yards.
      • Covered shooting positions.
    3. Shotgun Range:
      • Facilities for trap, skeet, and sporting clays.
      • Automatic throwers and manual trap machines available.

    Membership

    Membership at the NVGC is required to use the facilities. The process and benefits of membership include:
