About Nevada Firearms Academy & Range

Nevada Firearms Academy & Range

Nevada Firearms Academy & Range is truly a passion-run operation, we call our students "family" and we wouldn't have it any other way.

We aren't as big as some others out there, and we may not have the prettiest range (yet) but what we lack in overhead, we make up for in passion, commitment, drive, and enthusiasm.

As an instructor, I've been blessed to teach multiple platforms all over this crazy world of ours. One thing I was sure to always do was to take real-world situations and spend an exorbitant amount of time breaking them down step by step to see where we as a society had gone wrong.  I then took my findings and went to work as an instructor to figure out exactly where we went wrong and how we can teach and train to help people protect themselves, their families, and those around them.

There are a lot of things I can't and won't promise as a business owner, but I will step out on a limb here and say this. If you don't leave the range a more confident person with a weapon, a better and more skilled shooter, or even with a different level of passion, that class is free. I'm less about being wealthy and more about the passion of teaching people in our community how to protect and defend themselves.  But more importantly how to first off work to keep yourself out of a bad situation.

A weapon is an insurance policy. Much like carrying full coverage on your vehicle, just because you have full coverage doesn't mean you drive down the highway bouncing off other cars. Just because you've trained with a weapon and become proficient,  that doesn't mean it's always in your best interest to use it. Remember,  discretion is always the better part of valor. With that being said, we work to have fun safely. We train to get to that next level and we send you off with scenarios and skill sets that you too can share with your friends and family to make them better and more importantly to hopefully make our community a safer more welcoming piece of the world.

See ya on the range,

Scott & the Family

Remember: An armed society is a polite society. Manners are good when one may have to back up his acts with his life.
