About Lincoln Shooting Sports Center
The fee for the Dillman Range is $20 per shooter cash or credit (with a small fee). Veterans shoot for $10. Children 15 years and younger shoot for free; all minors must be accompanied by an adult.
Paper targets are available for purchase for $0.25 a piece. We do not sell ammunition or rent firearms. The Dillman Range goes out to 300 yards on the rifle side. Please check our calendar for range hours and events. There is no direct line to the range only a recorded message with the range hours for the week.
Our Indoor Range is not open for regular shooting it is primarily used for our Junior Program and scheduled matches.

Membership

Membership Procedures
- LRC Memberships are processed at Club Headquarters only via email, mail or in person - MEMBERSHIPS CANNOT BE PROCESSED AT THE RANGE
- The membership process begins with the submission of the Membership Application, Hold Harmless Agreement, Code of Ethics Form and all non-refundable fees. This can be done via email, mail, or directly to the Club Headquarters office.
- Provide your NRA number and expiration date OR if you are not a member of the NRA you can join at the same time you submit your LRC membership application.
- Membership fees can be paid with cash, check or credit card.
- Upon receipt of the completed forms and non-refundable fees, you will be provided a provisional membership card. During operating hours, this card will allow you access to the Dillman Range and will provide you all the privileges of full membership (with the exception of voting).
Provisional Requirements
The following information lists the activities required to become a full member of the Lincoln Rifle Club. Your probationary period begins when you apply for membership and pay your fees. During your probationary period, you will be granted the privileges of membership which includes use of the Dillman Range without having to pay a range fee, shooting bench priority, the ability to participate in any activities reserved for Club Members, and discounted range fees for your spouse. Provisional members are not allowed a vote at club meetings and they are not eligible to run for the Board of Directors. To be considered a full member of the club, you have 12 months to complete the following probationary requirements:
- Shoot under the supervision of an RSO one time at the Dillman Range. You may use the firearm of your choice and fulfill this requirement anytime the range is open for business.
- Attend one session of the 1-hour LRC New Member Orientation generally held on the second Saturday of each month at Club Headquarters.
If for some reason you are unable to fulfill your probationary requirements within 12 months of joining, you must reapply.
Club Meetings
Club meetings are held at the McBean Park Pavilion located at 65 McBean Park Drive in Lincoln. They are generally held the first Thursday of each month at 7:30 PM.
Membership Cycle and Renewal
Memberships are valid for twelve months from the time of joining. Membership renewals are based on when a member joined and dues were paid. Renewals will be mailed out the month prior to the expiration date. Club membership will lapse if dues are not paid by the expiration date.
