Facility and Ranges
The club is divided into several specialized shooting areas:

Indoor Range: A 50-foot range with 10 stations, strictly limited to .22 rimfire pistols and rifles. It is used year-round and features a climate-controlled meeting room and kitchen.

Short Range: Offers distances of 10, 25, and 50 yards. It is suitable for all firearms, though centerfire rifles are restricted to the 50-yard targets. It includes movable target frames and lighting for evening sessions.

Lower Range: The long-distance facility, featuring covered stations for shooting at 50, 100, and 200 yards. It is equipped with "silencer barrels" (noise-reduction tubes) for centerfire rifles.

Archery Range: Features both a known-distance range (up to 50 yards) and a seasonal 3D field range with life-sized animal targets.

Shotgun Area: Located near the Lower Range, it features a stationary trap thrower for clay target shooting.
Services and Programs

Education Foundation: The club operates a 501(c)(3) foundation that provides NRA-certified training, Oregon CHL-compliant courses, and Hunter Education Field Days.

Youth & Women’s Programs: Home to the Capitol Area Junior Rifle Club (CAJRC), which trains youth in Olympic-style shooting. It also hosts "Armed Women of America" chapters and women-only clinics.

Specialized Matches: Regular events include Steel Challenge, Speed Steel, Muzzleloader shoots, Golf Ball shoots, and Night Shoots.
