All about Menomonie Rifle & Pistol Club

Community Events

The club hosts several public-facing programs throughout the year:   

• Youth Training: A 7-week Youth Rifle Training Program (ages 14–18).   

  Gals and Guns: A women-only event held every September focusing on safety and familiarity with various firearms.   

• Hunter Education: Field tests and courses held in conjunction with the WI DNR.   

• Trap Leagues: The Menomonie High School Trap Team (Mustangs) practices here on Wednesday nights; the public is often welcome to join for a fee per round.  

Strict Range Rules

• Prohibited Items: No .50 BMG, tracers, armor-piercing rounds, fully automatic firearms, or binary triggers.

• Safety: Everyone must register with the Range Supervisor before uncasing firearms. Eye and ear protection are mandatory.   

• Under 18: Must be under the direct supervision of an adult at all times.
