Facilities and Ranges

TSI does not own a single "all-in-one" facility; instead, it provides financial and volunteer support for several key ranges in the Juneau area:

• Juneau Hunter Education Shooting Complex: An indoor facility featuring a 50-foot live-fire range with seven shooting lanes. It is equipped with a modern bullet-trap system and an advanced air-handling system for safety.

• Juneau Gun Club: TSI frequently partners with this club for trap and skeet shooting events.

• Remote Cabins: TSI has built and maintains several public-use cabins (such as those at Peterson Lake and Taku Inlet) in partnership with Alaska State Parks and the U.S. Forest Service to ensure remote recreational access.

Services and Programs

TSI focuses on education, conservation, and community service through the following:

• Hunter Education: Sponsoring certification courses for hunter, bowhunter, and crossbow safety.

• Scholarship Program: One of the most successful in the state, TSI has awarded over $2 million in scholarships to local students, funded primarily through their annual salmon derby.

• Shooting Sports Support: Providing a venue and funding for youth shooting clinics, league competitions (.22 and centerfire pistol), and competitive tournaments.
