Services and Programs
The AGCA provides a variety of community-focused services centered on safety and heritage:

Gun Shows: They organize several major events annually, including the Spring and Fall Gun Shows (often held at the Sullivan Arena or Alaska State Fairgrounds). These serve as marketplaces and historical exhibits.

Youth Education: For over 30 years, they have hosted Youth Shooting Appreciation Day, introducing kids aged 12–18 to firearms safety and marksmanship at no cost.

Scholarships: The AGCA awards scholarships to Alaska high school graduates and supports competitive shooting teams at the high school and collegiate levels.
