  1. Sal Trentacoste says

Do you know the Cty. law in St. Lucie reading the purchase of a pistol at a gunshow? Is there a requirement for a permit, background check & a 3 day waiting period?

  2. says

@ mark gardner wrong—you can make a private sell without a background check to another person but if you go through a dealer, then a background check yes.

  3. george burns says

44 yrs carrying, no check mandatory on a trade even to a gun store from unlicensed owner, some ask for it anyway. Also the tax is the net price, old gun subtracted from new gun. If the gave you $300 on your old gin on $500 dollar gun, tax is only on the $200
