Facilities and Ranges:
The Association offers multiple outdoor shooting ranges to accommodate various firearm types and distances. Key ranges include:
- 25 Yard Range: This range is primarily designated for handguns and rimfire rifles, featuring an enclosed, twelve-position building that can be heated with a woodstove.
- 100 Yard Ranges: There are two separate 100-yard ranges.
- Range #1 has a twelve-position enclosed building with backstops/berms at 25, 50, and 100 yards. It is also equipped with a woodstove for heating.
- Range #2 features a four-position overhead roof and has backstops at 50 and 100 yards.
- Action Bays: The club also has dedicated action bays, which are used for dynamic shooting competitions.
- Clubhouse: The club maintains a clubhouse that serves as the main facility for meetings and social activities.

SSFGPA hosts a variety of shooting events and educational programs:
- Shooting Competitions: The club regularly hosts sanctioned competitions in various dynamic shooting disciplines, which include:
- Steel Challenge: A speed shooting discipline using steel targets.
- USPSA (United States Practical Shooting Association): A competitive sport involving pistols, rifles, and shotguns, emphasizing speed and accuracy.
- Cowboy Action Shooting (SASS): A themed competition where participants shoot targets using firearms from the Old West period.
- Wild Bunch.
- Marksmanship Programs: The club is involved with organizations like the Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP), promoting excellence in marksmanship, safety, and youth programs.
- Education and Training: The SSFGPA offers various firearm safety and proficiency courses, such as the NRA Basic Pistol Course, for members and the public.
