Facility and Hunting Grounds

• 5,000 Acres of Hunting Land: The preserve spans 5,000 acres, providing ample space for upland bird hunting. The terrain is varied, offering a challenging and enjoyable hunting experience.
• Bird Species: The facility offers hunting for pheasants, chukars, and quail. These hunts are conducted over well-trained dogs with experienced guides.

Services and Amenities

• Hunting Seasons: The hunting season runs from mid-September through the end of March, allowing for a long period of hunting opportunities.
• Introductory Hunts: For those new to the facility, Rocky Mountain Roosters offers introductory hunts that do not require a membership. These hunts are available seven days a week during the season and can be scheduled for either morning (8 AM to 11 AM) or afternoon (1 PM to 4 PM) sessions.
• Memberships: Memberships are available and provide year-round access to the facility. Members can bring guests, friends, family, and clients, who pay the same rate as the member for day hunts.
• Guided Hunts: Experienced guides and well-trained dogs are available for an additional fee, ensuring a successful and enjoyable hunting experience.
• Clay Target Shooting: The facility also offers clay target shooting, providing an opportunity to practice shooting skills in a controlled environment.
• Pistol Training: Rocky Mountain Roosters offers complete pistol training classes and has a private outdoor pistol range. The training is conducted by NRA-certified instructors and United States Concealed Carry Association affiliate instructors.

• No License Required: Hunters do not need a license or hunter safety card to hunt pheasants, chukars, and quail at Rocky Mountain Roosters during the season and on the property.
