All about Redlands Shooting Park

Facility and Ranges:

The park features extensive facilities dedicated to the clay target disciplines, including:

  • 9 Trap Fields

  • 3 Skeet Fields

  • 10-Station Sporting Clays Course

  • 2 International Bunker Trap Fields

  • A Clubhouse with amenities such as a beer bar and kitchen.

  • Lighted fields for night shooting (available on select evenings).

Disciplines:

The park specializes in five main shotgun disciplines:

  • Trap Shooting: Including American Trap, which involves shooting targets thrown away from the shooter from a single trap house.

  • Skeet Shooting: A discipline where targets are thrown from two fixed houses (high and low) across a semi-circular arrangement of eight shooting stations.

  • Sporting Clays: Often called "golf with a shotgun," this course simulates field shooting with targets thrown at varying angles, speeds, and trajectories to mimic different bird flights.

  • International Bunker: A more challenging form of trap shooting.

  • Five Stand: A compact version of Sporting Clays shot from five stations, using targets from multiple trap machines.

Services:

Redlands Shooting Park provides a range of services to support shooters of all levels:

  • Gun Rentals and Ammunition are available on-site, with a requirement for non-members to purchase range ammunition.

  • Lessons are offered by experienced instructors in various shotgun disciplines.

  • A Pro Shop is available for supplies and merchandise.

  • The club hosts Competitive Events under various associations, including the ATA (Amateur Trapshooting Association), NSSA (National Skeet Shooting Association), and NSCA (National Sporting Clays Association), as well as League Shooting.

  • It also accommodates social functions like corporate team-building events.
