All about Prairie Central Sportsman's Club

Facilities and Ranges:

The club is currently developed with a focus on core shooting disciplines, with plans for future expansion. The completed Phase 1 facilities include:

• Rifle/Pistol Ranges: Separate 25-yard and 50-yard ranges, both featuring covered firing lines and shooting benches for members' use.
• Shotgun: A regulation trap field with token access.
• Archery: An archery backstop is available.
• Clubhouse: A clubhouse suitable for meetings, educational programs, and community events.

Future development plans include adding a second trap field and a 100-yard rifle range.

Services and Activities:

The PCSC is committed to providing a safe environment and promoting the shooting sports through:

• Membership Access: Members receive the lock code to the gated facility, allowing use of the ranges at their convenience during normal operating hours. Both individual and family memberships are available.
• Scheduled Events: The club holds regular organized shooting and social activities, including weekly trap shoots and scheduled rifle and pistol shoots.
• Education and Safety: The club actively supports instruction and education, offering Hunter Safety classes in cooperation with the Illinois Department of Natural Resources and working with the Illinois State Rifle Association to provide programs for youth and beginning shooters.
