All about Pemigewasset Valley Fish & Game Club

Facilities and Ranges:

The club is one of the region's most diverse shooting facilities, offering both indoor and extensive outdoor ranges:

• Rifle Ranges: Capabilities extend out to 300 yards on an uncovered range. It also features a 100-yard rifle range with covered firing points and a 50-yard covered rifle/pistol range.
• Pistol Ranges: Includes a dedicated 7/25-yard open pistol bay and a 50-foot indoor pistol/rimfire rifle range with seven stations, complete with climate control and state-of-the-art ventilation.
• Shotgun Ranges: Features a Trap range which also has a raised platform for 5-Stand shoots. This area also serves as the club's Olympic biathlon range.
• Action Bays: Dedicated bays are used for dynamic action shooting events such as Cowboy Action Shooting and Tactical Action Shooting (TAS/3-Gun) competitions.
• Archery: The club provides a field archery range and a 3-D wildlife target archery course available during the warmer months.

Services and Activities:

The Pemi is run entirely by volunteers and focuses on providing diverse shooting programs and instruction:

• Events: The club hosts numerous competitions, including High-Power/Smallbore Rifle, Metallic Silhouette, Bullseye Pistol League, Trap, 5-Stand, and Biathlon events (combining shooting with running or skiing/snowshoeing).
• Training: Firearms training classes are offered for Pistol, Rifle, and Shotgun, often taught by NRA-certified instructors. Specialized programs for new female shooters, like Women on Target, are also available.
• New Members: New members must complete a mandatory New Member Orientation Program (NeMO) which includes a lecture and a safety tour of the ranges, before receiving full range privileges.
• Amenities: The grounds include managed forests, expansive trails, a clubhouse lounge, and a kitchen.
