Facilities and Ranges

• Outdoor Ranges: The club features a 100-yard rifle range and a pistol range, providing ample space for members to practice their shooting skills.
• Fishing Areas: The club has access to several miles of brooks in Canaan, Lime Rock, and Falls Village, as well as a fishing pond specifically for children. These areas are stocked with trout twice a year.
• Hunting Grounds: The club owns over 100 acres of land used for hunting. Pheasants are stocked on the property for six weeks leading up to Thanksgiving.

Services and Activities

• Membership: The club offers memberships to men, women, and juniors from Litchfield County and beyond. Junior memberships are available for younger enthusiasts.
• Events and Competitions: The club hosts a variety of events throughout the year, including turkey and ham shoots, pistol shoots, 3-D archery tournaments, and a fishing derby for children. Many of these events are open to the public.
• Safety and Training: Emphasizing safety, the club provides training sessions and safety courses to ensure all members are proficient in firearm handling and usage.
• Scholarship Program: The Brooks Conklin Scholarship, established in 2005, is awarded yearly to a junior member or a child of a member. The first scholarship was awarded in 2009.
