All about Hobbs State Park Shooting Range

Facilities and Ranges:

• The range has a concrete floor and five covered shooting stations, including one that is wheelchair accessible.
• It accommodates target stands at distances of 25, 50, 75, and 100 yards, and is designed for use with handguns and rifles, but not shotguns.
• The range operates on a self-service basis, so shooters must bring their own paper or cardboard targets and wooden clothespins to attach them. Users are responsible for cleaning up their own spent brass and targets.

• The range is open to the public without a fee.
• It is an unsupervised range, meaning safety and courtesy among all users is essential.
• Operating hours are typically Tuesday through Sunday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, but the range is closed on Mondays for maintenance. It also closes during specific permitted hunting seasons within the park, as well as on major holidays like Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day.
