All about Gun Owners Action League

What GOAL Is
Gun Owners’ Action League is a Second Amendment advocacy organization in Massachusetts dedicated to protecting and advancing firearm ownership rights, influencing legislation, and defending legal challenges related to gun laws. It serves as the state’s premier gun rights association representing law-abiding gun owners, sportsmen, and clubs.

Mission & Activities
GOAL focuses on legislative advocacy, legal defense of gun rights, public education, and outreach. It works to keep firearm freedoms intact in the Commonwealth and engages members on issues affecting firearm laws and licensing.

Range & Facilities
GOAL itself is not a public gun range. Its headquarters is in Northborough, MA, which houses classroom space where firearm safety and legal training courses are held. It does not operate a dedicated indoor/outdoor shooting range open to the general public.

Training & Education
GOAL offers firearms safety training and educational classes on safe handling, legal requirements, and responsible ownership. Courses at its HQ cater to new shooters up through advanced instruction and often require membership. GOAL also refers students to qualified instructors statewide.

Affiliated Clubs
GOAL supports and lists affiliated gun clubs around Massachusetts that may operate ranges, host events, and provide shooting opportunities. These are independent clubs affiliated with GOAL rather than facilities owned by GOAL itself.
