Facilities and Ranges

• Rifle and Pistol Ranges: The club features a 200-yard rifle range with seven covered shooting positions and a 50-yard pistol range. The ranges are equipped with berms and safety features, including a siren and flashing light system.
• Action Pistol Pit: This specialized range includes plate racks and interactive steel targets. New members must complete a training program before using this facility.
• Shotgun Ranges: GSA offers multiple shotgun ranges for trap, skeet, and sporting clays. These ranges are open daily, with specific hours during hunting seasons and special events.
• Archery Range: The club has a practice range with various targets at distances up to 50 yards and a field archery course with 25 stations throughout the grounds.
• Fishing: The club's property includes access to streams and ponds stocked with fish, providing excellent fishing opportunities.

Services and Activities

• Shooting Events: GSA hosts a variety of shooting events, including rifle and pistol matches, trap and skeet shoots, and action pistol competitions. These events are designed to cater to all skill levels.
• Hunting: Members can participate in hunting activities on the club's property, which is managed to support abundant game populations.
• Youth Programs: The Junior Membership committee offers training programs in archery, shooting, and fishing for children aged 12-18. The committee also sponsors events like the annual fishing derby and fishermen's breakfast.
• Family Activities: The club organizes family-friendly events such as the Easter egg hunt, Halloween and Christmas parties, and a family picnic. Hiking trails are also available for members and guests, except during hunting seasons.

Membership and Community

The Guilford Sportsmen's Association is dedicated to promoting outdoor sportsmanship, conservation, and community engagement. Membership is limited to 300 regular members, with additional senior and honorary members. The club emphasizes safety, responsible gun handling, and environmental stewardship.
