All about Glennallen Gun Club
Ranges & Shooting Areas
The facility is divided into dedicated areas to accommodate different shooting disciplines:
-
Rifle Range: Offers targets at 25, 50, and 100 yards. It features a covered firing line with approximately ten shooting benches to protect shooters from the Alaskan elements.
-
Pistol Range: Includes designated areas for handgun practice, including steel reactive targets and traditional paper target stands.
-
Trap & Skeet: The club maintains a trap house for shotgun enthusiasts. Clay shooting is typically a seasonal highlight, with organized shoots held during the warmer months.
-
Archery & Specialty: There is space dedicated to archery, and the club has historically maintained a "Woods Walk" for muzzleloaders and primitive firearms.
