Facility Overview:

The club boasts a large property that includes a pond and a stream, providing a diverse environment for various activities. The clubhouse itself is substantial, with a 1500 square foot upper level and a 500 square foot lower level, offering amenities like air conditioning and food services.

Ranges Available:

Galt Sportsmen's Club offers a comprehensive range of shooting disciplines, catering to various interests:

• Clay Target Shooting: This is a major focus with:
  • 5 Trap Fields: Featuring 16-yard, Handicap, wobble, and doubles options. Two fields are typically available for practice, with an additional three for competitions.
  • 4 Skeet Fields: Three are open for regular practice, while two are reserved for competitions and special events.
  • Five Stand: NSCA-style, with up to eight traps offering a wide variety of target presentations.
  • Sporting Clays: Ontario's largest course, set on over 50 acres of wetlands with up to 17 stations, designed to provide a realistic hunting environment.
  • FITASC: Up to two parcours, each with five traps, offering challenging presentations including battues, midis, chandelles, and rabbits.
• Archery:
  • Outdoor Archery: Includes a 24/7 floodlit practice range with targets from 10 to 50 yards, a 100-yard-long practice area, and 20 full-size 3D targets available from dawn to dusk. There is also a 12-foot high shooting platform and a 20-yard running deer target.
  • Indoor Archery: Available.
• Rifle Range: An outdoor rifle range is available.
