Facilities & Ranges:

The club offers a wide variety of shooting disciplines with extensive facilities, including:

• An indoor range (25-yard, multi-discipline, for handgun and .22 rifle).
• Multiple outdoor handgun ranges (from 25 to 200 yards).
• Rifle ranges (from 20 to 200 yards).
• Dedicated clay target ranges for Trap (5 fields), Skeet (4 fields), and Sporting Clays.
• An archery range with targets from 10 to 35 yards, and an indoor/outdoor archery facility.
• A fishing pond on its 250-acre grounds.
• A clubhouse with amenities.

Services & Disciplines:

Galt Sportsmens Club supports various shooting sports and services:

• Clay Target Shooting: Trap, Skeet, Sporting Clays, and 5-Stand are popular.
• Handgun Shooting: Including action-shooting disciplines like 3-Gun and Speed Challenge.
• Rifle Shooting: Both rimfire and larger caliber rifle shooting.
• Archery: Both indoor and outdoor options.
• Membership: The club is primarily member-based. New members typically need a valid Canadian Possession & Acquisition License (PAL) and may go through an application process and safety course, particularly for handgun sections which have limited intake. Specific sections (like handgun, rifle, clay target) have additional fees on top of a general membership.
• Safety: The club prioritizes safety, with safety officers and sound mitigation measures in place.
