Facilities and Ranges

• Indoor Range: The club features a 15-position, 25-yard indoor firearms range. This range is available 24 hours a day for members, providing a convenient and controlled environment for shooting.
• Outdoor Ranges: FTRPA offers several outdoor ranges, including:
  • 25-Yard Outdoor Plinking Range: Ideal for casual shooting and practice.
  • 25/50/100/200-Yard Outdoor Gun Ranges: These ranges cater to various shooting disciplines and skill levels, providing ample space for long-distance shooting.
• Archery Ranges: The club includes a 30-position walk-through archery course and an archery practice range, catering to archery enthusiasts.
• Air Gun Range: An outdoor air gun range is available for those interested in air gun shooting.
• Curtis Lake: A 17-acre lake on the property is designated for catch-and-release fishing, adding to the variety of outdoor activities available.

Services and Activities

• Membership: FTRPA operates on a membership basis, providing access to its facilities and events. Members enjoy 24-hour access to the indoor range and outdoor shooting from 8 AM to dusk. Some shooting events are open to the public, allowing non-members to participate.
• Training and Safety: Emphasizing safety, the club offers various training sessions and safety courses. The NRA Junior Rifle Program is one of the notable offerings, teaching basic firearm safety and marksmanship to young shooters.
• Events and Competitions: The club hosts a variety of events and competitions throughout the year, including metallic silhouette programs, Action Steel matches, High-Power rifle matches, Mini-Palma, Smallbore Prone matches, and NRL22 precision rimfire matches. These events provide opportunities for members to compete and socialize.
• Special Programs: FTRPA is an NFA-friendly club, welcoming legal owners of Title II firearms and suppressors. The club also has a subgun committee that organizes matches for these firearms.
