Facility and Ranges

The facility features two separate shooting areas, both offering a maximum distance of up to 25 yards:

1. Public Range: This range is generally open to the public and accommodates handguns and pistol-caliber rifles (like .22LR or pistol-caliber ARs).

2. Tactical/Rifle Side: This area is often used for law enforcement training and classes, but is available to members, and open to the public on specific days, such as Wednesday Rifle Night. This range allows the use of a wider variety of firearms, including shotguns and rifles up to .50 BMG.

The ranges feature a high-tech "SuperTrap" system and a dedicated ventilation system to maintain a clean environment.

Services and Sales

Evan's Gun World provides a range of services for all levels of firearm enthusiasts:

• Firearm Sales: The retail side sells various firearms, including California Compliant models. They also offer FFL transfer services for private purchases.

• Rentals: They offer a wide selection of firearms for rent, including many popular handguns and long guns, with an option for unlimited rentals for one flat fee (requiring the use of range ammunition).

• Gunsmithing: On-site gunsmithing and armorer services are available for repairs, modifications, and maintenance.

• Training: A variety of classes are offered, including:

  • Basic Handgun Class (including a women's-only option).

  • Holster Draw Class (required for members wishing to draw from a holster on the tactical range).

  • Concealed Carry Weapon (CCW) Courses.

• Tourist/First-Time Shooters: Special supervised packages are available for tourists and new shooters who want an introduction to handling and firing a variety of firearms.
