Facilities:
- Shotgun-Only Range: The club is specifically designed for shotgun shooting, focusing on trap (clay target) shooting.
- 12 Trap Fields: They have 12 American-style trap fields, equipped with advanced voice-release systems.
- Clubhouse: There's a full-service clubhouse where you can relax between rounds.
- RV & Camping: The club offers 50 RV spaces with water, power, and garbage service, along with high and dry camping grounds.
- The Grill: They have a grilling area available.
- Pro Shop: The club sells ammunition (12 and 20 gauge) and targets. You can also rent shotguns.
Gun Ranges:
The Edmonton Gun Club is a shotgun-only range. They primarily offer:
- Trap Shooting: This is their main discipline, with 12 fields dedicated to it.
- Five Stand: While generally available, Five Stand might be temporarily closed at times.
Types of Firearms Allowed:
Only shotguns are permitted on the range. Members and non-members can bring their own factory or re-loaded ammunition, but it must be:
- Shot size no greater than 7-1/2
- Not a Magnum load
- Does not contain any steel shot
For registered Amateur Trapshooting Association (ATA) events, only factory ammunition complying with ATA rules is allowed.
Membership Information:
The Edmonton Gun Club offers various membership options:
- Annual Adult Membership: Available for individuals.
- Annual Junior (U18) Membership: For shooters under 18.
- Annual Family Membership: Covers up to four individuals (with dependents under 18 at the same address).
- Day Fee: Non-members can pay a daily fee to use the facilities.
Memberships run from January 1 to December 31. You can purchase memberships at the club or by mail.
