Facilities and Ranges
- Trap and Sporting Clays: EHSA offers trap shooting and sporting clays facilities. These ranges are equipped with hand-held, lever-operated, and fully automatic devices and machines to cater to various shooting preferences.
- Bird Hunting Grounds: The club provides extensive grounds for bird hunting, including open fields, cornfields, woodlands, and marshlands around the Connecticut River floodplains. The grounds are stocked with ring-neck pheasants, and there are also wild ruffed grouse, woodcock, and various ducks and geese.
- Dog Training Areas: EHSA has designated areas for dog training, allowing members to train their dogs to point, hold, back, or retrieve birds in a natural environment. These areas are available both during and outside the hunting season.
