Ranges and Facility:
The club's outdoor shooting facility includes:
- Trap Ranges: The club operates two trap houses and hosts a very active trapshooting program, including a summer trap league. The trap range is open to members and the public on specific days.
- Pistol and Rifle Ranges (Members Only): There are three lower ranges for members, which include:
- A 65-foot pistol range that accommodates nearly all common pistol cartridges.
- A 50-yard range with covered firing points.
- A 100-yard range, which is covered, ideal for rifle sighting.
- Clubhouse: The facility includes a clubhouse that serves as a meeting place for members and is available for events.
Services and Activities:
- Membership: The club operates on a membership basis, with all ranges except the designated open trap times being for members only. No guest shooters are allowed, with the exception of those at scheduled public trap events.
- Competitions and Leagues: The club is known for its active trap shooting leagues and various other competitions and events.
- Community Engagement: Historically, the club has been involved in community events and is engaged in fundraising activities, such as an annual raffle.
- Meetings: Member meetings are held monthly, offering a chance for members to meet the Board of Directors.
