All about Decatur Gun Club

Founded in 1890, the Decatur Gun Club has been supporting clay-shooting enthusiasts since nearly the inception of the sport.

 We are open to the public and offer skeet, trap, and 5-stand facilities for shooters of all levels. Become a member and participate in one of our year-round leagues or practice on your own with discounted prices for targets. 

The Decatur Gun Club, located at 61 Faries Parkway, Decatur, Illinois, is a well-established clay shooting facility with a long history dating back to 1890. It offers a variety of shooting sports, including skeet, trap, and 5-stand for both recreational and competitive shooters. The club is open to both members and the public, providing opportunities for practice sessions as well as organized leagues and competitions.

The Decatur Gun Club offers an annual membership for $100, which provides access to discounted rates for shooting sports like trap, skeet, and 5-stand. Members enjoy a reduced rate of $8 per round for trap and skeet and $9 for 5-stand, while non-members pay slightly higher fees. The club also offers discounted student rates.

Membership is required for participation in leagues, such as their popular Winter Skeet League. Public shooting is available to non-members, and the club encourages newcomers to join their community of shooters.
